I got great value for my money at Toucan Hostel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff treated me incredibly well. The location was perfect, especially being so close to the airport.

The breakfast selection could have been better.

The air conditioning in the rooms was a major plus, especially during the hot Christmas season. the comfortable mattress and warm covers were also a great touch. the well-stocked and clean kitchen and showers were a convenience that I would have loved to use if I had stayed longer.

That the rooms seemed a little dark due to the black film on the windows. However, this was a minor issue considering the other amenities.

I had a short layover and stayed at Toucan. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring my safety in the Uber. The hostel was clean and one of the cleanest I've been to. It's a perfect stopover near the airport, offering affordable rooms and a delicious breakfast for 1000 colones.
