We stayed at Villa Calas for a weekend getaway. The quiet setting in the mountainous farmland was perfect for relaxation. The cosy cabins with fireplaces were a nice touch, especially in the cool evenings. The farm property offered great country walks and the abundance of hummingbird feeders was a delightful sight. The location near la Paz waterfall and Volcan Poás was convenient. The on-site restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and delicious food. a charming and comfortable stay.

Great value for the money. The room was comfortable with a cozy fireplace and a space heater. The location was perfect for nature lovers, with a hiking trail connected to the hotel and beautiful views of the dairy farm across the street. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Food for breakfast could have been better.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and were incredibly helpful. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and had a great rustic layout. The hotel facilities, including the fire pit and restaurant with beautiful views, added to the cozy atmosphere. Additionally, the location was perfect for us, as it provided a relaxed and peaceful setting away from the city, while still being conveniently close to the airport.

This was my favorite place we stayed at in Costa Rica. The chalet was adorable, the property and landscaping beautiful. We enjoyed a stunning sunset from our chalet and were visited by hummingbirds. The check-in area/restaurant was cozy, with tasty food and friendly service. We loved having our own cozy chalet, with well-maintained gardens and lots of hummingbirds. The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions like La Paz, Poas Volcano, and Doka Estate. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The restaurant was beautiful, clean, and new, with a full menu to choose from. The staff were incredibly helpful. Even though we checked in after hours, there was someone available to assist us and show us to our rooms. The Junior Suite room option was stunning, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near attractions such as La Paz waterfall, a dairy farm with a tour and play area, and Volcan Poás. The accommodation had a charming, hobbit-like feel and was situated above the main restaurant/reception area. The gardens were well-maintained, and there were even hummingbird stands where we could watch these beautiful birds from our window. Plus, there were peacocks on site! The staff were friendly and always willing to help. The colder climate in this cloud forest area meant that heaters were provided, and we even had the option to light a fire in our room. The room also had a small kitchenette, including a coffee maker and fridge. Daily cleaning service was another bonus.
