Wicked awesome spot! Right by the Diocletian's Palace—can't beat the location. Luka helped us with our bags like a champ. Breakfast? ! Homey vibes with fresh pastries and organic eggs. Mario gave us the royal treatment with tips on where to eat. Seriously, the dinner at the restaurant was to die for!

Luka's personal touch, from tailored breakfast options to a guided city tour, truly enhanced our experience. The exquisite tasting menu for dinner and thoughtful takeaway breakfast showcased their commitment to exceptional hospitality.

While my stay was largely enjoyable, I did face some minor inconveniences. The absence of block-out curtains made it difficult to get a good night's sleep with street lights filtering through. Additionally, navigating the narrow streets with luggage to find parking was a bit tricky, which caused some frustration upon arrival.

oh boy, where to begin? the limited parking was such a hassle, especially dragging my luggage through those narrow streets. plus, no one offered me a complimentary upgrade to make up for the ordeal. i nearly considered a praise-worthy review, but that would be far too generous for a stay that fell utterly short of my expectations.

Incredible hosts, Luka and Mario, even carried our bags and gave us a personalized tour. Limited parking made it tricky for luggage transport. We enjoyed a fantastic local culture tour that highlighted the area's history.

We had an awesome time with friends! The place was super cozy and central, making it easy to explore. We went diving and fishing nearby, which was unforgettable. The breakfast was incredible, especially the homemade croissants. Mario and Luka were great hosts, always ready to help. Highly recommend it!

Parking was a bit tricky since it’s outside of the old city, which could be a hassle if you have a lot of luggage.

The room was lovely and super comfy! Those pillows? I wanted to take them home. Plus, there was nice attention to detail, like a fridge, bathrobe, and quality toiletries. The heating/cooling system and water pressure were on point, which made my stay even better. The decor was really nice too, giving it a warm vibe. I felt right at home!

The room was spacious and very clean, with a comfy pull-out sofa. Parking was a bit inconvenient since we had to leave the car outside the old city.

stayin at makarun was amazin! luka and mario took good care of us from the moment we arrived. they even carried our bags from the bus station and gave us a lil tour of split. breakfast was a highlight — 3 courses that were so delish! the room was super nice and comfy, felt like home. i loved how they made everything personal and went above and beyond for us.

only issues were the stairs since there's no elevator, and parking was tricky around the old city. but honestly, it was worth it!
