Free WiFi came in handy to post endless photos of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment in Nicosia, which I am now convinced is my second home. The seasonal pool was a lifesaver, feeling like a fish out of water. Cons: Cold showers were a refreshing wake-up call every morning; who needs hot water anyway? .
