The Catalonia Bavaro Beach, Golf, and Casino Resort in Punta Cana offered a convenient transit location for my travels, just 20 km away from Punta Cana. The rooms were well-equipped with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, providing essential amenities for a comfortable stay.

The abundance of seaweed in the ocean and the long walk to reach the clear swimming area detracted from the overall beach experience.

We had a blast with friends, enjoying the unlimited alcohol at the swim-up bar, various events, and delicious crepes on the beach. The privilege beds and late-night food stations were a nice touch. The fresh juice bar, hammocks, and beach umbrellas created a fantastic tropical atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, especially with the hammocks on the balcony. We also had great deals on activities from one of the pool staff named Blacky. a fantastic resort experience!

Felt like our own home, nothing to complain about.

We were grateful to have a place to relax by the beautiful beach after a long day traveling. The main restaurant had a decent variety of options, which changed daily, and was conveniently located by the sidewalk and with great ocean views.

There were some issues with the cleanliness of the room and unresponsive housekeeping staff during our stay.

This place has one of the nicest beaches I've ever been to, with palm trees and plenty of food and facilities. The golf court is a great addition, and as a budget traveler, it's a bonus that no handicap is needed. Highly recommended.

I keep returning for the perfect stay. This place has everything I need including Beach access, Massage, Jacuzzi and Cycling. The staff once helped me find my lost wallet. It's ideal for my city break. I have no regrets.

The Cabeza de Toro Golf Club was lit, we felt like pros while hitting those balls, and the pool was massive! The professional staff kept us entertained, and we never ran out of fun things to do. It was off the hook!

It would've been even more off the chain if there were more late-night party options for us young peeps.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I experienced nothing but luxurious amenities and excellent service. the outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing, while the Spa & wellness centre offered body wraps and massages to unwind. the beach access had sun loungers to sit back and enjoy the ocean view. the restaurant served a buffet breakfast and special diet menus, which catered to my needs. the poolside snack bar offered tasty treats and refreshing drinks. the location of the hotel contributed to my experience, as there were entertainment and leisure rooms for karaoke, live entertainment and spa lounge.

Other than that, the hotel surpassed all my expectations, and I will undoubtedly return in the future.

The Catalonia Bavaro Beach, Golf, and Casino Resort in Punta Cana truly impressed me with its well-equipped and cleanly-maintained rooms. The amenities provided, including a table top ironing board, steam iron, golf umbrella, free safe. The option to upgrade to the privileged Honeymoon Suites with canopy king beds is definitely worth the extra cost for a luxurious experience.

The noticeable presence of seaweed in the sea could be off-putting for some guests.

Free WiFi in the room was a nice touch. the location is good and it is easy to get around by foot or by public transport. the breakfast selection was decent.

The room was small and dated, with worn out furniture. the noise from the street made it difficult to sleep at night.

The food was exceptional. It was a culinary experience like no other, with a wide range of dishes that left my taste buds dancing. The breakfast spread was as vast as the ocean, and the dinner options were a treasure trove of delight.

Our family had a wonderful time at Catalonia! The resort is huge and located in a stunning beachfront setting. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the well-maintained pools, the variety of organized activities for both kids and adults, and the many restaurant options. The customer service manager, Yana, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The rooms and bathrooms in the Privileged section were nicely updated. We especially enjoyed the food and service at the Steak House, Italian Restaurant, and the big Buffet. The free flow of wine, beer, and alcoholic mixed drinks made our stay even more relaxing. The overall experience was fantastic and we highly recommend this hotel.
