I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Santo Domingo that exceeded my expectations. the room was incredibly spacious and well-appointed, with two separate rooms that provided ample space for relaxation and privacy. The kitchen was fully equipped and even though I didn't use it much, it was a nice touch to have everything I needed. The hotel's location was also a major highlight, situated conveniently near various attractions and easily accessible via Uber. Additionally, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, providing excellent customer service throughout my stay.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was exceptional and I couldn't find any major flaws.

The hotel had a nice decor and the manager was really helpful and accommodating. the location was great as the hotel was situated near the main street, allowing for easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and the seafront. the staff at the hotel were friendly and spoke good English, making communication easier. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. Additionally, the hotel had 24-hour security onsite, which added to the sense of safety during the stay.

One downside was that the internet signal was weak and only worked in the living room and bathroom, not in the room itself. This made it a bit inconvenient for those who needed internet access in their rooms.

The room had great facilities and attention to detail, including the air conditioning unit located in the sitting/living area. The view of the water from some rooms was also an added bonus. The hotel's location was ideal, with plenty of nearby casinos, small clubs, and restaurants to explore. It was also just a short taxi drive away from the Colonial Zone, adding to the convenience of the stay.

The location was perfect and safe, and the service was excellent. Despite the slight inconvenience of not having a microwave in the apartment, we highly recommend this small hotel. we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend staying here.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the value for money was exceptional - I couldn't believe the prices for such a great location across from the ocean. The attention to detail was impressive, from the basic amenities to the rooms with great facilities. I especially loved the air con being located right by the queen bed, offering a refreshing breeze and a good view of the water. The breakfast provided was also delicious and satisfying.

We loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the spaciousness of our suite. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. The staff at Shakey were absolutely excellent. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. I also loved the large space of my apartment, it was very spacious and well-equipped. The convenient location allowed me to easily walk to nearby restaurants and scenic spots. I highly recommend this hotel.

Had a fantastic stay for a few days, the staff were super friendly and helpful, even though there weren't many. the hotel was in a great location and had everything we needed, including breakfast which was complimentary! We loved the option of getting groceries delivered to our door too.

The only issue we had was with the Wi-Fi connection; it wasn't the best and we could only get it to work in certain areas of the hotel/apartment.
