We had an amazing stay at Vila Carolina. Frances made us feel very welcome since check-in. She made sure we understood all the instructions and was always friendly and inviting. The room was amazingly clean with all the essentials. The bathroom was spacious and also very clean with toiletries included. The breakfast prepared by a very nice lady every morning was delicious, with coffee, juice, bread, eggs. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff.

I had such a wonderful time at this hidden gem. the hostess was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. the breakfast they served was absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the fresh mango juice made from the property's own mango trees. the swimming pool was clean, warm, and surrounded by a beautiful garden filled with old giant trees. the accommodation itself was unique and well-maintained, with a spacious and comfortable room. I had a wonderful stay at a beautiful local bed and breakfast in Puerto Plata. The owner was kind and friendly, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the courtyard was absolutely stunning. Although there was no air conditioning, the ceiling fans kept the room cool. The breakfast, consisting of fresh fruit, toast, and hot coffee, was simple but satisfying. The Villa is located in a gated area, so I felt very safe during my stay. The owner also provided great tips for local tours.

The pool was not maintained and unavailable during my stay. Additionally, being in the middle of a busy town meant there was some noise at night and in the morning, but a pair of earplugs did the trick.

Frances even gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area, including the beautiful Sosua Beach. the pictures on the website don't do justice to how stunning the Villa is in person. it was the perfect choice for our visit to Puerto Plata City.

villa carolina in puerto plata is a hidden gem. the garden/patio is lush and perfect for relaxing, and the staff, especially francia, is incredibly helpful. the room was clean and comfortable, and i would definitely stay again.
