Recently stayed at Carlton Downtown for our honeymoon. the hotel's 1930s charm and welcoming staff made us feel like we stepped back in time. the rooftop offers a peaceful retreat with stunning city views. the location, just 200 meters from the museum, is perfect for exploring. the authentic Egyptian breakfast was a highlight, and the value for money was impressive. Would recommend this hotel.

We booked 4 rooms for 8 people. Despite a breakfast mix-up, we showed proof and all 8 enjoyed the meal. Basic amenities lacking, but the vintage charm and friendly atmosphere were delightful. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, as it is very close to a Metro station, making it easy to explore the city. the rooftop terrace provides a great view and is a perfect place to relax with a drink. the staff here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. the atmosphere in the hotel is unique, and you truly feel like you are experiencing the real Egypt. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a nice firm bed that ensures a good night's sleep.

One area that could be improved is the cleanliness, as some guests have mentioned issues with flies in the rooms. the hotel could work on providing better communication regarding room reservations and amenities.

We stayed at a hotel in Cairo over the Christmas holidays. the breakfast buffet was tasty and filling, and the rooftop terrace had amazing views of the city. the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions and there was easy access to public transportation.

The rooms were in need of updating and the cleanliness was subpar. the bathrooms had various issues and the amenities were limited.
