The value at that hotel was incredible. the room was cozy and clean. the location was superb, surrounded by mosques and local eateries. the staff at that place really made my stay memorable.

The breakfast experience could use some improvement.

The hotel has a beautiful and authentic decor, showcasing traditional Cairo craftsmanship. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. There is a school of traditional handcraft arts located inside the hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Old Cairo and its amazing monuments. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel supports and trains local artisans, with fair-trade items available for purchase.

Our purpose was to immerse ourselves in the city's history, and with a short stay, Gamaleya was perfect. Just steps from historical sites, the hotel's charming decor, quiet rooms, and fantastic breakfast impressed us. the staff, especially Yohana and Ahmed, were exceptional. the traditional soup they served at breakfast was a delightful touch. Gamaleya's location is central to the city's vibrant life, making it an ideal choice for families or solo travelers.
