The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The room was quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The location was magnificent. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The hotel is conveniently located, being quite close to the city centre but also on the way to the port. It sits on top of a hill, providing a unique view of the surrounding area. The rooms are spacious and stylish, with comfortable beds and a Lavazza capsule coffee machine. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast offers a good selection of delicious items, including warm croissants and cakes.

There is no minibar/fridge in the room.

When we found the entrance to the hotel, we were amazed by the stunning architecture. the building is a former prison, and it kept an overall prison feel, which made our stay exciting. the breakfast was really good; they offered a nice assortment of food, and we loved the fact that we could sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the good weather while having breakfast. the room was spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable, we had a great night sleep.

One of the worst aspects of our stay was the complicated instructions on how to find the hotel. We had some troubles finding it, and we had to ask for directions.

We loved the unique atmosphere of this former prison hotel. The stylish, minimalist design throughout the building was impressive. The spacious room and well-appointed bathroom were a pleasant surprise. The color schemes added a stylish touch. The breakfasts were delicious, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the peaceful yard. The nearby brewery and the fascinating development of the former prison added to the overall experience. The location close to the river and the outstanding Forum Marinum maritime museum was a huge plus.

Felt like our second home, nothing to complain about.

The conversion of the prison into the hotel maintained the prison atmosphere, creating a unique and immersive experience. The bar and restaurant offered good food and drink options, and parking was hassle-free. The staff, particularly the older gentleman who helped us with the air conditioning, were extremely helpful. Despite being a bit of a building site in the vicinity, the walk into town was manageable.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The location on top of a hill provided breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room service was exceptional, and the housekeeping staff ensured that our room was always spotless. We also enjoyed the added comfort of the soundproofed rooms and the amenities like the terrace and dining table in our room. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the welcome drink was a nice touch.
