We stayed at the Arctic River Resort for a week-long vacation. The cottage was new, clean, and perfectly furnished. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The private sauna was a delightful bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was great for our budget-friendly trip. Päivi, the owner, was incredibly nice and even helped us out when our shuttle didn't show up. The location by the river was quiet and beautiful, and we were able to see the Northern Lights from there. a wonderful experience!

We had an incredible experience at Arctic River Resort. Despite our flight delay, the staff warmly welcomed us and made us feel valued as guests. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful wildlife along the Ivalo river created a serene atmosphere. The property provided a comprehensive list of winter activities, many of which were easily arranged through the resort. Although we didn't witness the northern lights due to cloudy weather, the possibility of seeing them from our accommodation was a definite highlight. The helpful staff and delicious breakfast further enhanced our stay. I highly recommend this resort for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

We found a small, cheap stay close to the airport at Naverniemi Holiday Center. The room was tidy with a small radiator for heat, and the showers had warm water. The hosts, Henri and Päivi, were fantastic and organized a Husky Safari for us. The Wi-Fi speed was better than expected, and there were supermarkets nearby. a great stay.

the staff at Arctic River Resort were always friendly and made me feel well taken care of. the small cabin I stayed in was cozy and equipped with everything I needed, including a microwave, mini fridge, water kettle, and coffee machine. the location was quiet and off the grid, perfect for a couple of days away.

The cozy and warm cabins offered a beautiful landscape view that allowed me to see the rumored northern lights. the owner of the holiday center was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the best aspects was undoubtedly the fully equipped kitchen in the cabin, which made us feel at home and saved us money on meals.

The distance from the supermarket was a bit further than we anticipated, taking us around 30 minutes to walk there. the limited availability of food at the restaurant was another downside - the food provided was only for guests who had made a reservation a month before their stay.
