We had a fantastic stay at Casa 48 Guesthouse. The owner and his partner were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had all the information we needed for Carnival festivities and getting around on a budget. They even checked us in early and greeted us with coffee and a snack. The view from the communal lounge was outstanding, and the atmosphere felt like a welcoming family. We also appreciated the convenience of the bus stop down the road that took us into Lapa or a quick 15-minute walk to Santa Teresa.
