We had a great stay at this hostel! the functional design made it easy to access all the facilities we needed, like charging our batteries. the rooms were spacious and the staff was flexible and friendly. We felt secure with the personal card access to our private space. the showers were surprisingly clean and dry, despite the claustrophobic design. the hostel was warm and had good air circulation, even with the window closed. the kitchen during breakfast had a microwave and cold fresh running water. the fridge had plenty of space and we had no problem accessing ocean and dishes. the summer access to the garden must be even better! the rooms were quiet, considering how many people were staying in the building. the music in the afternoons in the hall was great and it was nice to hang out and enjoy it. the breakfast was fresh, reasonably sized, and nicely served. We had a typical continental spread with options like corn cereal, yogurt, fruits, white buns, croissants, toast. for those with dietary restrictions, it may be a bit challenging to find suitable options. we enjoyed our morning cup of coffee, which had a genuine taste and strong nutty smell. the staff was also wonderful, and we loved the jazz/blues music playing in the background.

Plus, the beds were comfortable and the industrial architecture of the hostel was really unique. We also enjoyed exploring Jardin de Rosa Luxembourg nearby.

I had a great stay at Auberge De Jeunesse. The hostel was big and spacious, and everything was very clean. I stayed in the female room with 5 beds and it was perfect, with a shower and sink in the room and a toilet right next door. The breakfast was very good, especially considering it was a hostel. The location was also very convenient, just a short 400-meter walk from the subway station.

While the hostel was great overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. One was that towels came with an additional fee of 3 euros, so it's best to bring your own or account for that in your budget.

I appreciated the aircon, even though it was a little noisy. the breakfast was generous and being able to enjoy it outside under a tree-filled canopy was beautiful. the location was quiet, safe, and non-touristy, making it a great choice for a woman traveling alone with children. I felt safer here than in the crowded tourist areas. I would definitely go back.
