We stayed here with our family for five nights and we had a wonderful time! Our rooms were perfect and we all loved the view from the balcony. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint which was a highlight for us. The staff was extremely helpful and gave us lots of good hints for nice restaurants. We all appreciated the daily supply of toiletries and the kitchenette with its cookware and electric kettle.

As youngsters, we loved the prime location of Hana-Touro. It was tucked away in a quiet street in Gion, yet close to fantastic shopping, dining, and attractions. The room balcony provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunset, overlooking a shrine across the street. The well-appointed room, complete with a luxurious ofuro tub and shower, made our stay even better. We also appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine for a little morning pick-me-up. we highly recommend this hotel for its location, amenities, and lovely room design.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of a traditional area with beautiful wooden sliding doors and paper screens. It was a short walk to restaurants, temples, and other attractions. The staff at the reception desk were extremely helpful and friendly, and they spoke English fluently. They recommended some amazing experiences for me and even helped me book them. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The flat-screen TV and CD player kept me entertained, and the air conditioning kept the room at the perfect temperature. I also loved the private balcony with its stunning view of a nearby temple and the mountains beyond. The sun terrace was a great place to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The traditional Japanese aesthetic combined with modern conveniences created a perfect blend. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the traditional wooden soaking tub added a touch of luxury to our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. We loved sitting on the balcony in the evenings, enjoying the serene neighborhood shrine and the peaceful sounds of birds chirping. I highly recommend Rinn Gion Hanatouro for a memorable stay in Kyoto.

Although our stay at Rinn Gion Hanatouro was amazing, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. We occasionally noticed a damp woody smell in the room, but it was easily remedied by opening the balcony door for fresh air.

Located in the heart of Gion area of Kyoto, this hotel is in a great area, close to all restaurants and the main Gion shopping area. The room was modern, spacious with a comfortable bed, kettle, and a coffee machine. The balcony with a view of small temple across the road was a plus. The English-speaking, friendly staff were helpful and provided us with useful sightseeing tips.

Loved the traditional Japanese vibes in the room with tatami floors and shoji screens, but also appreciated the comfortable western-style beds. If I had to be picky, there were a few marks on the walls from previous guests. being a boutique hotel, it didn't have all the standard facilities like room service or a fitness center.

The hotel's location in Gion, the best area in Kyoto, was absolutely perfect. It was close to Hanamikoji Street and Shijo dori Road, making it easy to explore the local sights in the area. The room was spacious and clean, with traditional Japanese "Shoji" sliding panels and a beautiful wooden tub in the bathroom.
