Conveniently located near train station, closed upon arrival but owner quickly provided keys. Private parking appreciated. Typical French hotel with friendly owners, just as hotels should be. 10 min walk to excellent restaurant. Easy to find.

We had a wonderful stay at a small and quiet hotel that was conveniently located across the road from the railway station. the owner/manager of Belle Epoque was excellent and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They even did our washing as a favor to us. the hotel had separate safe and secure parking for our bicycles with locked gates at night. It was a typical French hotel, which added to its charm, and the owner was super friendly and helpful. the location was great, with a ten-minute walk along the river to the center of town.

We stayed at Belle Epoque for a quick visit to Chinon. The hotel is cozy and the owners are kind and helpful. The room, although small, had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with fresh croissants and bread. The location, near the river and railway station, was convenient. We highly recommend this hotel. 100% recommend this hotel.
