We had a perfect stay at Charlemagne. the hotel felt like home and the bed was comfortable and spacious. the Wi-Fi connection was consistently fast, great for both work and play. the atmosphere and receptionists were top-notch. This has been our best and only choice for almost 3 years in Lyon.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Lyon. The location was great, just a short walk from Perrache Station and close to public transport. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Lyon.

The value for our money at Hotel Charlemagne was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view of the neighboring church from the balcony. The location was convenient, with easy access to the metro and tram, and there were charming boulangeries and a corner store just outside the door. The staff were very helpful and spoke English, which was greatly appreciated.

Menu for breakfast could be more varied with options like cereal, fresh fruit, and margarine, in addition to the bread, confiture, and pain au chocolat provided.

Here I stayed for a few nights and it was a great experience. the location was perfect for me, close to public transportation which made it easy for me to explore the city. Secondly, the room service was impeccable as my room was always clean and tidy. I also loved that there were shops nearby which made it easy for me to pick up anything I needed. Lastly, the staff were amazing and provided great tours and ticket assistance.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is going to stay here.

The hotel is in a prime location near plenty of restaurants, bars, and public transportation. the breakfast was tasty, and the staff was super friendly. They even offered complimentary bottles of water which was a nice touch.

The room was quite small, and we struggled with the lack of space to move around comfortably. the bathroom was a bit outdated and could use some updates to match the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel.

The hotel's location near the train station was extremely convenient for us, as we had to catch an early morning train. It was just a short walk away, making it easy for us to carry our luggage. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were accommodating and friendly, providing us with a charging cord for our computer when we needed it.

The rooms were in need of renovation and the air conditioning was not working during our stay, resulting in a warm and uncomfortable room.

My recent stay at the Hotel Charlemagne was fantastic. The breakfast spread was delicious and the seating options, both indoors and outdoors, were perfect. I particularly enjoyed the calming water fountain in the breakfast area. The hotel itself had great amenities including a bar, pool table, and games for entertainment. The seating area between the two parts of the hotel was a nice touch as well. The twin room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, with a spacious layout, a comfortable bed, and a balcony offering a stunning view. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower, and the separate toilet was a convenient feature. The front desk team was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I had a lovely conversation with two of the women at the front desk upon checking out. it was a wonderful stay.
