We recently stayed at a hotel located in the most beautiful surrounds, it's part of a historic abbey. the architectural design of the hotel was superb, seamlessly blending modern elements with the original building. We were able to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay in elegantly designed rooms. Despite the hot weather, they provided a Dyson fan for our comfort. We particularly loved the large shower in the bathroom. We also had a lovely breakfast in the hotel's restaurant, although we regrettably couldn't get a reservation at the Michelin-starred restaurant.

Staying at this luxurious hotel was an absolute blessing. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, every single moment was catered to with excellence. The modern and calming flow of the rooms provided such a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that every want and need was met. The food was divine, with top-dollar cuisine served for breakfast. The tour of the abbey was excellent and really highlighted the special and peaceful location of this hotel. The strong Wi-Fi connection was an added bonus to stay connected during my stay.

It would have been helpful if the reception had offered assistance with luggage upon arrival, as the car park was quite a distance from the hotel. The bar area could use some updates as well, with the central bar and touch screen table tops feeling out of place.

fontevraud-l'abbaye is an exceptional place to stay and explore. The abbey access and tranquil atmosphere were truly special. The breakfast in the cloisters was outstanding with a wide variety of local delicacies. The hotel's modern renovation and helpful staff added to the overall wonderful experience.

I recently stayed at Fontevraud L'Hotel for a few nights and it was an incredible experience. The hotel is a stunning contemporary renovation of old abbey buildings. The room was small but well equipped, and the reception team was incredibly helpful. The highlight was the exceptional breakfast served around the cloisters, with local cheeses, breads, meats, and a delicious oeuf cocotte with creamy bacon sauce. Plus, the room key granting access to the abbey after hours allowed for an unforgettable and peaceful exploration.

The hotel lacked practicality and can be uncomfortable at times. the lack of air conditioning made it agonizingly hot in the summer, and the room design was awkward.

The hotel is situated in a great location, adjacent to a charming little town with several good restaurants. It is within walking distance to the main square, making it easy to explore and dine at nearby establishments. The rooms are nicely sized and the bathrooms offer ample space. The service is attentive and the breakfast spread is beautifully laid out, featuring a wide range of options including local gourmet jams and freshly baked breads.

The hotel's WiFi connection was frustratingly unreliable, making it difficult to communicate and access online services.
