Great value for money hotel near the most touristy spots in the city centre. The smaller room was smartly built with neat bunk beds and had a good character. The staff was very courteous and breakfast had a nice view of Place Bellecour.

Guests mentioned that it is right on place Bellecour and very easy to find, making it convenient for exploring the city. it is accessible from Lyon Perrache train station.

The temporary parking to unload luggage was not ideal.

I stayed at Bayard Bellecour for a one-night business trip. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the old city, with easy access to the metro hub. The breakfast offered a wonderful continental spread with cake, cheese, ham, and a variety of other options. The room was very spacious and beautifully finished. The staff was helpful, especially when it came to carrying luggage. I had a special and enjoyable stay at this well-designed and decorated hotel.
