The hotel had a great location near La Rochelle's old town and a public parking garage. The market started right in front of the hotel, which was a nice bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they even offered us croissants to take away for our journey.

I recently stayed at a family-run hotel in the heart of La Rochelle. The location was perfect, with everything just a short walk away. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of storage. The staff were welcoming and allowed us to practice our French without any condescension. It was a basic hotel, but that was all we needed for our overnight stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The staff are super kind, friendly and helpful, always available and speak excellent English. Value for money. Not super plush or luxury but everything works. The best part is the location, honestly could not be more central or perfectly placed. 4 minute walk from bus from airport, 2 minute walk to daily market.

We had a great stay at De Paris. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic, with everything within walking distance. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the communal areas were nice for relaxing. The breakfast at La Paix, just two doors down, was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. a wonderful experience.

Well-located, 10 min walk from the harbor. Friendly, helpful staff gave us croissants for our journey and stored our luggage. Clean family room with a balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard. Good security and insulation. Enjoyable one-night stopover.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room I was given was on the ground floor, just as I had requested. It appeared to have been recently renovated, and the bathroom was spacious and suitable for guests with limited mobility. Both the bedroom and bathroom were of a good size, and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind, even carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs for me. They also took care of my luggage when I arrived early and when I was leaving. The hotel's location was excellent, right in the heart of the town, with everything I needed within a 5-minute walk. Additionally, being on the subway line #1 made it very convenient for transportation. The nearby cafes provided a great place to relax and enjoy the local atmosphere. it was a great value for the summertime price.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

We stayed at Hotel De Paris for a week and it was perfect. The 4 bed room with a 2 bedspace room divider offered great privacy. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The room had plenty of natural light from the 3 sets of windows that opened onto a leafy courtyard. The location was excellent, with everything we needed within easy walking distance, including restaurants, bars, and the port. The hotel was charming, with friendly and helpful staff. We loved the balcony overlooking the courtyard, and the peaceful atmosphere.

Would recommend this hotel.
