What a gem of a place! the atmosphere here is so laid back and cozy. the pool area is just fantastic , great to chill, have a drink, or enjoy a game. You can tell they put thought into the design, it's really cool with all the bamboo around. the owner is such a lovely person , she helped us with everything from scooter rentals to island tips, making our stay super enjoyable. Plus, plenty of sockets in the room, which is always a bonus. I even made friends with their adorable dog!

Just a couple of minor things to mention , the road leading to the hotel is a bit narrow and tricky to navigate, which might be a hassle for some. the air conditioner in the room could be a bit stronger.

The saltwater pool and jungle vibe at this accommodation in Malaysia stood out as the best we experienced. The communal area with food to cook was a great touch, and the location near restaurants and the beach was convenient yet peaceful. the loud rain on the steel roof required earplugs, and the fish tank in the reception area needs improvement. a relaxing and unique stay.

we had a wonderful stay at Bamboo Cottage Langkawi. it felt like a mini holiday within our travels. the host, Celia, was incredibly friendly and always available. the saltwater pool was refreshing, beds were comfy, and the outdoor kitchen setup was perfect for simple meals. strong WiFi allowed for seamless remote work. the staff was friendly and helpful. a peaceful location near mini marts and a fantastic Indian Kitchen for delicious curry.

The hotel facilities were excellent, with a large and beautiful saltwater pool. The common area was super chill, with hammocks and board games. The hotel is located near a tropical forest, providing a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It's also close to the beach but away from all the noise. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing outstanding hospitality. We really enjoyed our time here.

Just got back from an amazing stay in a jungle retreat. LOVED the outdoor dining area surrounded by nature. Would definitely choose it again. the swimming pool is even better in person! 😍

The best aspects of our stay were the friendly and welcoming family who run the place and the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. We also loved the short walk to two beautiful beaches with stunning sunsets, as well as the great bars and restaurants in the area. Another advantage was the feeling of being in our own private paradise, with the lush gardens and the chance to see monkeys in the trees. Plus, the luxurious salt water pool and the communal area with hammocks and board games were an added bonus.

The worst aspects of our stay were the presence of a few cockroaches, which was particularly difficult for my mother who has a phobia towards them. if your aim is to go to the beach multiple times, this place may not be the best as it requires either a car or a 1.5km walk to reach the beach.
