This hotel in a pretty village exceeded my expectations in many ways. the attention to detail was impressive, with modern bathrooms and good showers in the rooms. Secondly, the location was perfect, within walking distance of the beach and with a Logis restaurant across the road on the 1st floor. Finally, the breakfast spread was excellent, offering a range of delicious food and drinks.

All was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

We had a lovely stay at L'Escale - Piscine & Spa. the receptionist warmly welcomed us and showed us to our rooms. the rooms, although slightly dated in décor, had fantastic showers and the beds were incredibly comfortable. the breakfast had a wide selection to choose from and the bright area next to the reception was a great place to enjoy it. the restaurant across the road, which has the same name as the hotel but different management, served delicious food and is definitely worth trying. a pleasant stay in a convenient location.

The hotel had great facilities, including a large and comfortable room with a roomy bathroom. The staff were very welcoming and the swimming pool area was smart and clean. The location was perfect for a stopover before going through the channel tunnel, especially being between the 2 capes Blanc-Nez and Gris-Nez. Additionally, it was surprising how close the hotel was to busy Calais. Another great feature was that the hotel was within walking distance of the beach, which was a lovely bonus. The breakfast served at the hotel was also nice, with a light and airy setting and pleasant staff.

We got excellent value for our money with a small but beautifully formed superior double room. The surroundings were immaculate with lovely views, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the nearby restaurant and the convenient location with good parking facilities.

The Premium Room we stayed in was recently renovated, offering exceptional comfort and cleanliness. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore both the Channel Tunnel and the stunning coastal scenery. Breakfast was tasty and convenient. the recent stay at the hotel in escalles was even better than before. the smart and comfortable rooms were a hit, as well as the lovely garden and swings for the kids. being close to a great walk and a splendid beach was a bonus. the breakfast spread was excellent as always. can't wait to return!

The breakfast spread was pretty decent with some nice cheese and fruit options, certainly satisfying enough. I also appreciated the included amenities like the fridge and kettle in the room. the location was also convenient, being close to some nice countryside and the beach for a romantic escape.

There seemed to be an issue with insects in the room, which was less than ideal for a romantic getaway. while the location was otherwise convenient, the hotel seemed to be surrounded by road works which made getting there a bit of a hassle.
