As adventure travelers, we were drawn to Hotel La Marine for its perfect location near the city, market stalls, and cafes. The rooms were stylish, quirky, and spotlessly clean, giving us a comfortable and pleasant stay. The owner quickly addressed any issues, such as the wifi initially not working, ensuring we had a seamless experience. the hotel offered a chic and comfortable environment with a warm and welcoming staff.

Felt like a fairytale, no complaints.

My stay at Hotel La Marine, Vieux Port was absolutely delightful! I spent a few days exploring the beautiful city and the hotel's location was perfect, right in front of the Old Port. The owners, Elise, Vincent, and Alex, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hotel's marine-themed decoration was charming and unique, and the newly refurbished room I stayed in was fabulous. The breakfast, served in the room, was delicious with fresh breads, homemade sweets, and a divine homemade yogurt. a great place to stay in La Rochelle!

The location of the hotel was absolutely amazing, right in the heart of the city with stunning views of the waterfront and city streets. I loved waking up each morning to a delicious breakfast that was delivered right to my room. the fresh croissants, yogurt, bread, juice, and coffee were a perfect start to the day. the staff was also very welcoming and spoke English, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

One thing to note is that the WiFi was not the best on the second floor, although it worked well in the main living area. there is no elevator in the hotel, so be prepared to carry your bags up to check-in and again up to your room.

the port view room at la marine, vieux port was fabulous, exceeding our previous stay in la rochelle. the newly refurbished room was modern and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and great shower. the staff were friendly and helpful, offering assistance with luggage. the breakfast was delicious and delivered on time. overall, we had a wonderful experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right by the old harbour with stunning views onto the marina. It was so convenient being situated between all the great restaurants in the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, with the room being really nice and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was surprisingly spacious. I was genuinely surprised by the size and quality of the room. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Vincent, Alex, and the lovely young woman at the reception. The breakfast, delivered to my door by Alex, was beautiful and delicious, with the highlight being the homemade cinnamon yogurt. The hotel facilities had everything I needed for a short stay.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Lovely rooms with different pricing. Interior rooms are basic but good value. Front rooms have nice views and comfortable seating. Helpful staff and lots of restaurants nearby. Great location for exploring.

We got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was stylish, clean, and had a clever design. The location was perfect, with restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

The breakfast selection could have been better.

We had a fantastic stay at La Marine, Vieux Port in La Rochelle. the hotel had an excellent view of the port, and our room was quiet and comfortable with double windows. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location couldn't have been better. There were plenty of restaurants within a short walk, and it was convenient to explore the nearby shopping and tourist spots. Breakfast was a delight, especially when enjoyed outside with the fabulous view of the harbor and towers.

We had such a wonderful time at a perfect location with excellent staff. The hotel was very clean and our room had a stunning view of the marina. The town of La Rochelle is pedestrian and cycle friendly, making it easy to explore. The choice of restaurants and delicious seafood made our stay even more enjoyable. The highlight of our trip was the kindness and assistance we received from Hattie and Vincent, who went above and beyond to help us through some difficult situations. we had an amazing experience at La Marine and highly recommend it.

The staff were excellent, providing assistance with luggage and bringing us breakfast each morning. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with extra pillows and towels changed as needed. the view from our room was excellent, giving us a wonderful outlook. the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of downtown La Rochelle along the harbor. We were able to easily walk to restaurants, the ferris wheel, and all the sights in the area. we were very happy with our experience at La Marine, Vieux Port.

My partner and I stayed at Hotel La Marine for a long weekend getaway. We were in room 7, which had a great size and a very comfy bed. The location right on the harbour was fantastic, offering stunning views from our windows. Breakfast was a real treat, delivered to our room on a tray with fresh croissants, yogurt, bread, juice. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The air conditioning worked well, which was much needed in the August heat. a great experience with excellent cleanliness and a perfect location.

The value for money at this hotel was spot on, and the room was amazing - it felt like I was on a luxury cruise ship! The location was ideal, just a short walk from the old town, the beach, and all the great restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate me, even letting me use their computer to sneak in a work email before my vacation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in La Rochelle.
