It is very close to the motorway, allowing easy access for those on the road. the rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay for guests. The bathroom facilities are well-kept and the service is efficient. Breakfast is available and the view from the hotel is pleasant. Guests also have access to private parking, adding to the convenience of the location.

One downside is that the village itself seems abandoned, with nobody there to welcome guests upon arrival.

The pastries at breakfast were absolutely divine, especially when enjoyed by the traditional fireplace. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful forests, perfect for outdoor activities. The nearby natural park and music hall were also great highlights.

Oh, and let's not forget the lovely surprise of dirty skirting boards. Such an interesting touch to my stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel called Et Restaurant Traditionnel L'Escalandes. the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made me feel instantly at ease. the rooms were lovely and comfortable, and the attention to detail in the hotel's decor was impressive. I particularly enjoyed the delicious three-course menu of the day at the restaurant. the food was outstanding, and the breakfast spread, including brioche, cereals, and coffee, was delightful. it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We stumbled upon this hotel during our road trip and it turned out to be a true hidden gem. The location, just moments from the motorway, made it the perfect pit stop. The building itself, dating back to the 17th century, oozed with character and charm. Our room, although basic, was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The highlight of our stay was definitely the food. The owner, who is a chef, prepared an excellent evening meal and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The price, at only e100 for a family room, was incredibly affordable. We only wish we could have stayed longer.
