Het hotel is gunstig gelegen voor een bezoek aan het prachtige IJsselmeer op zondagen en feestdagen. Het is natuurlijk niet ver van Amsterdam, waardoor het een handige uitvalsbasis is voor dagtochten. De in- en uitcheckprocedure verliep soepel, waardoor we snel konden beginnen met genieten van ons verblijf.

Helaas was de badkamer niet helemaal schoon en vonden we wat haren op de vloer en in het bad. Gelukkig was de toiletbril beschadigd, wat enigszins teleurstellend was.

The value for money at Hotel Marengo was excellent, with tastefully decorated rooms and a perfect air-conditioning system that ensured a comfortable and peaceful sleep. The hotel's location was great, in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the city center and just a minute away from the beach. The friendly and helpful staff, along with the nearby bakery and coffee bar, added to the overall delightful experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Marengo. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they even resolved a reservation misunderstanding to our satisfaction. The rooms were tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. We also loved the peaceful atmosphere and the lovely courtyard. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and shops, and it's just a short walk to the city center. We would definitely choose Hotel Marengo again if we return to this area. we highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Ajaccio!

The location was perfect, just a short walk to a beautiful, quiet beach. The hotel was situated in a peaceful neighborhood away from the touristy areas of the city. It was really convenient to have the beach so close by. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a peaceful night's sleep. The wifi worked well and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

The hotel is in need of a renovation as it is past its prime. the lack of an elevator and narrow staircase can make it difficult to carry luggage to the higher floors.
