We stayed here before while en route to our main destination and it was a great start to our holiday. The building is lovely with nice communal rooms and well-appointed bedrooms. The garden is beautiful, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The bar's free "sweet trolley" with loads of lovely treats was a delightful surprise. We'll definitely be returning again!

The drive from the South to the ferry in Calais is peaceful with a restful stopover at this hotel. The garden is relaxing, parking is ample, and it has access to three pleasant restaurants. The comfortable and quiet rooms are well decorated. Excellent staff and a sublime dining experience with a great cheese selection.

Great location, close to main road but still quiet. Room upgrade upon check-in was a pleasant surprise. Clean and quiet room, comfortable bed with good pillow selection. Enjoyed the four-course menu at the gourmet restaurant, good food and service. Friendly staff.

No complimentary mineral water in the room, would have been a nice touch. Wifi was irritating, had to constantly renew the password.

We stayed at La Chartreuse for one night and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the A26 autoroute, making it easy to access. The building itself has been beautifully modernized while still maintaining its grandeur. Our room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The on-site restaurant, Robert II, served excellent dinner and the breakfast was delicious. We can't wait to return for a longer stay.

I had a fantastic anniversary stay at this charming Chateaux. The room itself was beautiful with a vaulted roof ceiling. The grounds of the chateaux were impressive, and we loved exploring the vegetable garden and the small lake. The beds were comfortable, and the level of cleanliness was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was adequate, with a variety of tea options available. We also had a great meal at the on-site restaurant, Vasco. I had a good stay and would consider staying again in the future.

I recently stayed at an old hotel nearby the Italian lakes, with a beautiful garden and easy access to The Channel Tunnel. The Vasco restaurant was rather disappointing, maybe understaffed, but the location was perfect. The room was comfortable and had a fine modern shower room. The service from the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options. The hotel also had delightful gardens and convenient facilities for guests.

We spent a wonderful Christmas time at this historic property. the period decor and beautiful gardens are breathtaking and added to the festive atmosphere. the food was delicious, with plenty of options for breakfast and dinner. the staff was friendly, helpful, and always available. the convenient location made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area and enjoy local attractions. We particularly enjoyed the cozy lounge area with a fireplace where we could relax and soak up the holiday spirit.

That although the rooms were comfortable and clean, they felt a bit dated and could use some updating. the noise from the plumbing in the bathroom was a bit disruptive, but it did not detract from our overall experience.

The hotel is set in a beautiful large garden with plenty of seating under the trees, providing a pleasant place to relax after a long drive. The Le Robert II restaurant offers a great dining experience with well-prepared and beautifully presented food. The staff are attentive and the service is at a good pace.

Some guests mentioned that the Vasco restaurant was rather disappointing, possibly due to being understaffed.

The service throughout our stay was outstanding, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The room we stayed in was well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The breakfast served was adequate, and the hotel had a vegetable garden where they sourced ingredients for their meals.

We did experience a slight inconvenience with the bar service in the evening, as the wait for our drinks was longer than expected.
