One of the negative aspects was the outdated and noisy air conditioning unit in our room. It made it quite difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I recently stayed at Hotel Le Medieval Palais Des Papes for leisure purposes. My stay was for three nights and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is centrally located, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. I loved being able to open the window and enjoy the charm of the cobblestoned street. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of options, including the unique opportunity to cook your own soft-boiled eggs. The hotel is only a couple of blocks away from Les Halles, where you can find great restaurants and shopping. The staff was also able to provide helpful recommendations and assistance with directions and taxis. They even spoke French slowly for those wanting to practice their language skills. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

That there is no elevator, so guests staying on the higher floors may need to carry their luggage up and down.
