The Mercure in Le Mans was excellent value for money, with extremely comfortable beds and a wonderful big bath. The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the picturesque old town and a number of restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Plus, we were able to park for free right outside the hotel.

Food for breakfast could be improved with some fresh air in the breakfast room.

During my xmas stay, I was impressed by the great value offered by this hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the main tourist attractions and it is an easy stroll to the restaurants and cafes. the private parking garage was a plus and provided a safe place to park my car.

The hotel lacked a non-slip rubber mat in the bathroom, which made it difficult for my elderly mother to use the shower. the breakfast was not up to my expectations and I found it to be overpriced.

The receptionist was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with our needs. She even froze our water bottles overnight and gave us great recommendations for dog-friendly restaurants nearby. We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a spacious suite with a comfortable king bed, a lounge area, and a large bathroom. The character of the building was preserved, with beautiful drapes and original windows. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent and the parking was secure and convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

The balcony decking in suite 215 needs to be replaced and the towels were not as fluffy as we expected. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room for a wider selection of hot beverages.
