Althoff Seehotel Uberfahrt is a little slice of heaven! Located right on the edge of Tegernsee lake, with a charming town just a few minutes walk away, you feel like you're properly on vacation from the minute you arrive. the upgraded suite we stayed in was fabulous, with a spacious and well-laid-out room, a great balcony offering partial lake and mountain views, and a wonderful bathroom. the hotel staff was very friendly and attentive, anticipating our needs and providing thoughtful touches like bottled water at night. the restaurants at the hotel were superb, both in terms of presentation and quality of food. the location on Tegernsee was perfect for exploring the area with its walking and biking paths.

Delicious food, especially in Chef Christian Jürgens' restaurant. The half board package including castle tickets was convenient. Exceptional service from front desk to housekeeping. a delightful 3-day getaway. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel offers luxurious and exclusive amenities, including an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and spa center. the massage and facial treatments were exceptional and fulfilled my luxurious needs. the beautiful sun terrace and garden area provided a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views of the lake. the continental breakfast offered a great variety of local food, with attentive and friendly staff.

While the room was spacious and comfortable, the noise dampening to other rooms could be improved. I also experienced a minor issue with the in-room coffee machine, which took a bit of time to figure out.

The hotel is conveniently located near several regional Christmas markets, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel is in close proximity to a Bavarian cultural festival with fireworks to boot, providing an opportunity for guests to experience the local traditions. The hotel also has a beautiful lakefront location, offering stunning views of the Tegernsee, and the Egerner Bucht restaurant serves delicious meals.

Some guests mentioned that the staff at the hotel were not consistently well-trained, resulting in occasional lapses in service.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the location was great for my business trip, being close to several key facilities. the breakfast offered a good variety of options to start the day.

For example, I had to request room cleaning twice and had trouble making a restaurant reservation.

Amazing rooms, personalized service, beautiful location, extensive amenities, friendly staff. The train ride to Tegernsee was scenic and the hotel arranged a car for us when there were no taxis. We received a wonderful room upgrade and Jonas at the front desk provided excellent recommendations and assistance throughout our stay. The hotel is right on the lake in a picturesque village with plenty of water activities. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. The public areas were beautifully decorated and the fitness center and pools were rarely crowded. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. The location was convenient to shops and restaurants in the village. The hotel participated in the local Christmas market, adding to the festive atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was nice, although the fruit selection could have been more varied. The hotel is expensive but worth it for the exceptional experience. I highly recommend this hotel.
