I had a fantastic experience at Altstadt. The young man at the reception was incredibly friendly and helpful, and he quickly picked up on our Irish accents. He spoke excellent English and made us feel right at home. Our room had a quirky shape, but it was bright, airy, and had a comfortable bed. I was delighted to discover vegan butter available at breakfast, and the location in the heart of the old city was simply fantastic.

I recently stayed in a hotel in Potsdam and had a fantastic experience. First of all, the location was perfect - right in the center of the city but tucked away in a quiet area. It was so convenient to be able to explore the sights without any hassle. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The rooms in the old wing were charming and had all the basic amenities I needed, including wifi. I particularly loved the window in my room that overlooked the restaurant, it added a lovely touch to the atmosphere. And last but not least, the breakfast was simply delicious - a homemade, rich spread that left me feeling satisfied and ready to start my day.

The room had an undesired odor and was not adequately cleaned. the bathroom was not ideal with a shower located in a bathtub, and it was impossible to stand up due to the sloping ceiling.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel located right in the centre of the city, close to all the tourist sites. The room was charming, with tasteful decor and skylights in the slanted ceilings. The bathroom was spacious and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a wide choice of delicious options. We also enjoyed the part-pedestrianised area and the nearby Dutch area.

The infrastructure and furniture in the hotel are a bit outdated and could use some renovation.
