The warm welcome from Owners Jennifer and Justin at Old Oak Boutique was delightful. the original features and history of the hotel added charm. Our suite with a balcony overlooking the water was perfect for enjoying evening drinks. the location near the village was convenient, allowing for a pleasant walk. the picnic prepared for our Cape Reinga trip was a thoughtful touch.

Bathroom ventilation needs improvement. Robe hooks placement could be better.

The managers Megan and Alasdair were incredibly charming and helpful. Our two-bedroom apartment was spotless, well-furnished, and had a lovely balcony with a great view. The hotel itself was enchanting and had a peaceful atmosphere. our two-night stay was memorable thanks to the friendly staff and fantastic accommodations. 👍

The beautiful surrounding landscape, including the opposite peninsula, adds to the charm and tranquility of the location. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with spacious bathrooms and all the necessary amenities. The service provided by the hosts is warm and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The soundproofing of the hotel could be improved, as noise from other guests can sometimes be heard, especially in the morning.

Had the best Easter weekend at this beautiful, well-maintained hotel that is located in a historic village. the owner was very friendly and accommodated us with everything we needed. the bed was really comfortable and we enjoyed the lovely upgraded bathroom. We loved that we had a variety of restaurants and shops that were walking distance from our hotel. It was definitely one of the best advantages of staying in this hotel.

The mattress was a bit too soft for our liking. But overall, our stay was memorable and we would definitely come back to this magic wee spot.

The waterfront location is stunning, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The Tui Garden Studio was lovely, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The small enclosed courtyard outside the room was perfect for relaxing. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, providing fresh cut flowers and fresh milk. The only downside was some noise from the road and the air conditioning unit. Despite this, I would highly recommend staying at The Old Oak Boutique for a peaceful and tranquil getaway. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.
