The location of the hotel was simply stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Being surrounded by rural countryside really added to the atmosphere and made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were attentive and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. They were able to speak English well, which was a bonus for us.

One of the negatives of our stay was the limited activities available outside of the castle. There wasn't much to do in the immediate vicinity, which made it difficult to fill our time when we weren't exploring other nearby towns.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we absolutely loved the unique atmosphere of the castle and its beautiful grounds. The medieval weapons, armor, and furniture, along with the hundreds of stuffed animals, added a fascinating touch. The large and comfortable rooms with amazing views were perfect for our group. The included breakfasts were excellent, and the restaurant served some of the best meals we had in Germany. The staff, including the friendly owners, spoke English and were helpful and welcoming. staying at Colmburg Castle was a truly magical castle experience.

I had an incredible experience at Burg Colmberg! The castle itself, perched high on a hill, gave me the feeling of stepping back in time. The historic atmosphere was truly enchanting. The highlight of my stay was exploring the castle's historical parts and stumbling upon a reading room filled with books and cozy couches. While no ghost was seen, there was a mysterious phone message which sent shivers down my spine. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and the outdoor dining area provided a lovely setting for dinner. The food was delicious, especially the mouthwatering Wiener Schnitzel. The rooms were clean, well-furnished, and had modern amenities. Breakfast was included and offered a satisfying selection. I highly recommend this unique castle experience.

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful castle hotel. The surroundings were stunning, with a deer park right outside my window. Inside, the room was modern and didn't feel like a 1000-year-old castle. The breakfast was great, with plenty of quality options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The food served in the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the staff were attentive and helpful. I also enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese offered upon arrival at the hotel, as well as the convenient location close to local attractions.

My experience was not entirely positive. the shower in my room had very low water pressure, which made showering an unpleasant experience.

The hotel was a real castle, complete with a chapel and antique furnishings. the views from the hill were stunning, especially during the snowy Christmas season. the breakfast was filling and delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. the jetted bathtub in the room was a nice touch for relaxation.

The stairs to the room were inconvenient, especially since there were still several flights of stairs to climb after taking the elevator. On weekends, the bus to the area wasn't running, so it was better to drive or take a taxi.
