our recent stay in rothenburg ob der tauber exceeded all expectations. historik hotel goldener hirsch was luxurious and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. the spacious rooms and delicious breakfast made our honeymoon unforgettable.

The hotel's location in the very town center is simply unbeatable. Being right in the heart of the city allows for easy exploration of the beautiful old town. Additionally, the basic amenities provided, such as very comfy chairs and sofas in the second bedroom, make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms themselves offer awesome views, and the presence of 3 beds for my kids was a huge plus. The breakfast with its stunning views was definitely a highlight, providing a delicious start to the day.

The hotel is perfectly located near the marketplace and on a main street, just 150 meters from the tower, so you feel in the center of it all. Our room was spacious, quiet, and had a fantastic bathroom with a stand-alone shower. The staff was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We loved the antique chairs and VERY comfy day bed in our room, as well as the pool table and board games in common areas.

The hotel could benefit from some improvements in the bar area, but it didn't affect our overall experience.

The town of Rothenburg was small but lovely, offering activities like hiking the town wall and exploring the local food shops.

Best aspects of our stay included a comfortable, spacious room with beautiful views. We also appreciated the helpful staff and private parking that was only a minute walk away. we enjoyed the complimentary air hockey and pool tables in the game room.

The breakfast that wasn't as impressive as we were used to, and the difficulty in finding the location. Our GPS led us in circles until we called for assistance and were directed through a narrow arched walled entrance.

We had a fantastic stay at Historik Hotel Goldener Hirsch. The building and decor perfectly suited the medieval setting of the town. Our room was comfortable, and we loved that we could sleep with the window open and enjoy the fresh air. The breakfast buffet was simple but plentiful, and we especially enjoyed the view from our table by the window. The hotel's location on the edge of the town provided a great view of the Tauber Valley. If we ever visit again, we will definitely choose to stay at this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the town. I was pleasantly surprised by the apartment that we were given, it was spacious yet cozy. The only downside was that the curtains were not thick enough to block out the light. Nevertheless, overall I would recommend this hotel.
