This hotel is incredible! The location is stunningly beautiful, with breathtaking views of the valley. The rooms are basic but comfy and well designed, and the large size of the rooms allows for enjoying the valley view. The breakfast is good, with a variety of meats, cheeses, and breads, along with waffles and cereals.

All was fine, but more amenities in the rooms would be nice.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel on top of a hill with breathtaking views all around. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with an added bonus of a sofa and a great view from my window. It was such a treat to wake up to such beautiful scenery every morning. Plus, the hotel provided all the amenities I needed.

We stayed at Hotel Schloss Hornberg for a few days and had a wonderful time. The location is absolutely incredible, situated on top of a small mountain next to castle ruins, offering fantastic views. The hotel is close to various Black Forest museums and attractions such as the Vogtsbauernhof and Triberg waterfalls. The comfortable bed, small breakfast buffet, and included parking were all great. Additionally, the hotel participates in a program that provides free travel via trains and buses, making it convenient to explore the area. The Bier Garten with its stunning views of the valley below was a highlight.

The rooms lack soundproofing, which was troublesome as noise from neighboring rooms could be clearly heard. the mattresses were too hard for our comfort, which made sleeping a bit challenging.

The location of the hotel was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat with convenient access to the surrounding activities. Morris, the friendly resident Retriever, added a homey touch to my stay. Despite a lack of tea/coffee-making facilities in the room and the absence of a lift, which might inconvenience some visitors, I would highly recommend this hotel. my experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional.
