Comfortable beds and great location near attractions.

Unfortunately, my stay was marred by several issues. The towels were not only scarce but also seemed thin and of low quality. it felt like they could rip apart at any moment. Additionally, the lack of a fridge in the room was a letdown, especially when I wanted to keep drinks cool after purchasing them from the nearby supermarket. To make matters worse, the breakfast was overpriced for what was offered, leaving me feeling regretful for having chosen it rather than exploring better local options.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the old town, making it easy to explore Mainz.

The bathroom was quite tiny, which might be a squeeze for some travelers.

My experience at Ibis Mainz City Hotel was frustrating. The lack of a refrigerator in the room was a significant inconvenience. I couldn't keep drinks cold after buying them from the nearby supermarket. Additionally, the towels were inadequate, with only one large towel provided per person, and they felt cheap and flimsy—almost disposable. I also found the breakfast overpriced and lackluster, especially considering I could have enjoyed a much better meal at a local café across the street for a fraction of the price.

What a jol! The location was spot on, just a block from the river. Staff was super friendly and helpful, even got my bags sorted when I arrived way too early. The brekkie was a lekker spread, fresh and tasty, and I loved that coffee machine!

Only downside was the parking garage, bit tricky to figure out, had to ring a bell but it all worked out in the end.

I stayed for three nights. The check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly. The location was close to restaurants and attractions. I had to deal with some noise from the hall and outside but overall, it did the job. What surprised me is that there was no refrigerator in the room, which I found inconvenient. I enjoyed my morning coffee from a local bakery instead of the overpriced breakfast. Overall, it was an acceptable experience.

Great location near old town and Rhine. Enjoyed the modern room and hot shower after long walks. Loved the ample secure garage space for bikes.

Ideal location just a block from Römisches Theater, very clean rooms, friendly staff, with easy underground parking available. Breakfast was quite good, with lots of options. The area has a lovely park and is super close to downtown.
