Situated in the tranquil hills, this hotel offers a great location for families with children as it is within walking distance of the famous castles. The room, by both European and U.S. standards, was spacious and impeccably clean. The friendly staff provided outstanding service and were fluent in English. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of options including homemade cakes and locally sourced jams. The private parking and private sitting area outside the room added to the convenience and comfort of the stay.

Some noise disturbances from neighboring dogs were reported during a thunderstorm.

We recently stayed at Landhotel Guglhupf for a wonderful weekend getaway. The staff and breakfast were exceptional! We loved the 24-hour cake and coffee service, as well as the wide selection of breakfast options. The staff was extremely helpful, providing us with great tips on getting around. The room design was lovely and sweet, and the hotel's warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. We would love to come back again!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel. the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of delicious sausages, cheeses, breads, and homemade jams. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations and making reservations for us. the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby castles and a short 10-minute walk to the old city. We also loved the cozy lounge area where we could relax and enjoy refreshments.

That the bed pillows were either too large or too small, and a standard sized pillow would have been more comfortable. Other than that, we had no complaints about our stay at this lovely hotel.
