As women traveling alone, we loved the friendly and helpful staff, the clean rooms, and the great breakfast. The location was perfect, with easy access to the bus station, museums, and the city center. Plus, having all kinds of shops nearby was convenient. This hotel is an excellent choice for those who prefer city exploration over beach and pool holidays.

the balcony had an amazing view, and the air con worked perfectly to keep us comfortable. the beds were also very comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. the staff at Castello City were extremely friendly and always ready to help us during our stay in Greece. One of the highlights was a special request I made for my 3-year-old daughter, which they went above and beyond to accommodate. They turned a simple muffin with a candle into a mouth-watering fancy cake. We were even treated to complimentary drinks late in the evening. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely return when I come back to Greece.

The hotel's location was ideal, being in the center and within a 15-minute walk to the old city center, fortress, beach, and main archaeological sites. The presence of a taxi rank opposite proved very useful for getting around. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views and a great start to the day.

The lack of table seats on the balcony made it difficult to store towels and swimwear.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Heraklion! The location was perfect, within walking distance to everything and near the airport. The breakfast was amazing with a beautiful view. The free parking was a big plus too. I highly recommend this hotel.

The restaurant in this hotel was exceptional, offering a wide variety of food and delicious flavors. The staff was exceptionally friendly, patient, and helpful with all of my questions. Additionally, the amenities in the rooms were very nice including soundproofed rooms and in-room air-conditioning.

Very clean accommodations. Friendly staff, quick check-in process, and accommodating for early check-in and early breakfast. Excellent value for the price compared to other hotels in the area.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, as I could easily access everywhere on foot and there was also a bus station close by. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the room was decorated with a modern design. Every day, the cleaners did a fantastic job of keeping the room tidy. Additionally, the hotel provided a fridge and a kettle, which was very convenient. The café on the upper floor offered a breathtaking view of the ocean, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine.

The complimentary chocolates and champagne left by the hotel staff in our room during Christmas was a delightful surprise. the location of the hotel near the city centre and the beach was perfect for exploring the area. the rooftop restaurant served delicious food with a stunning view of the city. We also enjoyed the fast and reliable WiFi connection in our room.

The room we stayed in was quite noisy due to traffic outside, but the air conditioning helped to drown out the sound. the bathroom could use some updates as the shower had very low pressure.
