I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kriti Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to accommodate my needs. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, a delightful selection of local cheeses, and warm bread. The hotel is ideally situated just a short, pleasant walk away from the beach and charming old town, making it easy to explore. The pool area was a lovely spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing, and services like the coffee at the bar were delightful. I appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the thoughtful Turkish coffee provided in the minibar.

The air conditioner struggled, only cooling to 22C despite being set to 17C, which was awkward at night. The noise from nearby open music concerts can interrupt sleep, and if you're not an early riser, expect to share your small room with limited space for two adults, especially if you've got luggage. Also, parking is non-existent, adding to the inconvenience when arriving with a vehicle.

Chania vibes 🌊

So, walked to the Venetian Harbour every evening, jakking lekker seafood, and brekkie was a proper feast! Freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee on tap really started the day nicely. Staff were so friendly, even helped me with my Greek phrases while I sipped on a nice frappé.

Only downside was the noise from nearby music events. could be a bit jol at night.

They have comfy sun loungers and a nice spot for a quick dip, which made for great relaxation.
