This hotel is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm and gracious Greek hospitality. The owners were ever-present, making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The attention to detail was superb, with little touches like complimentary slippers and a mini fridge in our room. The location of the hotel, right in the center of Portaria, couldn't have been better. We loved being able to step out onto the balcony and enjoy the view of the central square. The breakfast spread was outstanding, with a wonderful variety of fresh and local food. We couldn't have asked for more!

We had a wonderful stay at a centrally located hotel in Portaria. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the town square, and it was cozy, warm, and super clean. The hotel had a bar, and we enjoyed the convenience of having a DVD player and free wi-fi in our room. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade dishes and local specialties. I'll recommend this hotel for its charm, value, and excellent location.

Nothing to dislike.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gastronomy Hotel Kritsa. The spacious romantic room with its rustic Greek decor was absolutely charming. The highlight was definitely the open outside restaurant set under an 800 year old Oak tree. The traditional Greek food served there was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. We only stayed for one night during a road trip, but we wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The hotel is located in the heart of the village, on the most gorgeous square under the enormous plane tree. The rooms are clean, with a nice view of the square and the surrounding green plaza. The staff provides excellent service and the breakfast buffet offers a variety of local Greek food. Additionally, there is a tavern on the ground floor where you can enjoy delicious meals.

Some guests mentioned that there are a high number of stairs to climb in the hotel.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at this hotel. Loved the outdoor dining area and the food was fantastic, especially with their farm providing fresh and tasty ingredients. The cooking class was the highlight of our stay - learned so much in just 3 hours! loved the accommodating and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The location was perfect, with rooms overlooking a beautiful square and great views of the city.

Although the half-board option was a great deal, the restaurant experience left something to be desired. We felt like second-class customers with limited menu options and no drinks included.

The showers can be a little small for taller individuals.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the cozy and sparkling clean rooms with a beautiful view of the sky and the sea. The breakfast and lunch at the hotel's restaurant were exceptional, with a great variety of delicious Greek food. The 800-year-old tree in front of the hotel created a magical ambiance, perfect for dining. The staff was professional, friendly, and made us feel at home. They paid attention to details, like remembering our preferences for coffee.

We felt quite safe and had no complaints at all.
