The hotel is in the center of the castle of Monemvasia, close to the beach and away from the bars and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable with beautiful views of the sea and the town. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast served is varied and made with fresh local produce. The hotel has a lot of character and offers a romantic atmosphere.

The smaller bedroom in one of the apartments had limited space and the shower was short of head height, which could be inconvenient for taller guests.

We loved everything about this hotel, from its superb location on a cobblestone road with a private terrace overlooking a World Heritage site, to the breathtaking views from our balcony. The hotel facilities were top-notch, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was remarkable, with a variety of homemade dishes and local products to choose from.

I had a fantastic time staying in a charming medieval village above the sea. The old stone hotel was a delight, with beautiful room decor and stunning views of the sea and village. I especially enjoyed spending time at the outdoor cafe, taking in the picturesque surroundings. The complimentary breakfast basket provided as we left early was a nice touch.

I had an excellent stay at a unique location in the castle of Monemvasia. The refurbished rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, ensuring a good night's rest after busy days exploring. The host ladies were professional and always had a smile on their faces. The tasty and plentiful breakfast, with fresh juice and traditional Greek nibbles, was a delightful start to the day. I highly recommend staying at Malvasia Traditional for a visit to the unique castle of Monemvasia. I will definitely recommend this hotel!

The breakfast was nice, with hot and cold dishes to choose from, and the staff was friendly. the location was pretty cool, in the middle of old buildings and cobblestone streets. It was also quiet and peaceful which was great for a relaxing weekend.

We had to park the car on the side of the road and walk a long way to get to the hotel, dragging our luggage over the cobblestone streets. the path was narrow and rocky, making it really challenging, especially when carrying bags.

We had a unique opportunity to stay in a motor-free castle, which was an exceptional experience. The craftsmanship and cleanliness throughout the facilities were impressive. The location in Monemvasia offered outstanding views of the sea and ancient castle walls. The breakfast buffet was the best we've ever encountered. I highly recommend this hotel.

While the water didn't get really hot in the shower, it wasn't cold either. Additionally, carrying luggage from the shuttle bus to the room was a minor irritation, but the overall experience made it worth it.

This hotel is an absolute gem! its location in the heart of the old town means we were able to enjoy stunning views from our balcony every morning. Secondly, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Lastly, the breakfast was fantastic, with so many delicious options and even a view that took our breath away.

Everything was just perfect!

We were amazed by the stunning village of Malvasia Traditional, nestled amidst breathtaking scenery. The attention to detail, such as having candles and matches, added to the relaxing ambiance. We enjoyed waking up to the soothing sound of water lapping outside our bedroom window and swimming in the crystal-clear waterhole. Exploring the area on rented bikes was a delightful experience, and the warm and friendly staff, particularly Rena, made our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this place for a restoring and unforgettable getaway.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the lack of a padded under-sheet cover on the beds, as it resulted in slight discomfort for my husband. Nonetheless, these minor drawbacks did not overshadow the overall magical experience we had at Malvasia Traditional.
