The location of the hotel was great, just around the corner from the bell tower and main zocalo. However, this also resulted in some embarrassing situations, as the hotel is close to other properties where loud KABOOMS go off at 7 am to remind you to go to mass. The staff were friendly and helpful, pointing out when a guest had accidentally washed their money. the well-maintained grounds and security of the hotel were commendable.

One negative aspect of the hotel was the uncomfortable beds in some of the rooms.
