The pool was refreshing, and our kids loved the small swing set and soccer field. The cozy cottage feel and beautiful landscaping made for a relaxing stay. The outdoor lobby and pool area were perfect for lounging. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and hot chocolate, and my friends' little girl had a blast at the small playground. The location was ideal for visiting nearby parks, and the restaurant served excellent food. The cleanliness and friendly staff were definitely a plus.

We visited Retalhuleu for a family vacation, and the hotel's location was perfect for us as it was close to the IRTA parks Xetulul and Xocomil. The restaurant service was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised to have hot water in the shower. The landscaped grounds were beautiful, and we enjoyed spending time in the cozy outdoor lobby and around the pool. The small playground was a bonus for our friend's little girl, and the coffee and hot chocolate were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. we had a wonderful experience at Hotel La Colonia.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even though we didn't have a reservation. The property was secure with armed security guards, which made us feel safe. The wifi was excellent, and there was always hot water for showers. The pool was clean and had the perfect amount of chlorine. I stayed in a bungalow which was insect-free and very comfortable. We enjoyed the soccer area and playground as well. I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, safety, and great amenities.

I absolutely loved the cozy feel of the cottages and the beautiful landscaping around the hotel. It was so relaxing to sit in the outdoor lobby and by the pool. The staff was incredibly friendly and the hotel was kept very clean. The pool was well-maintained with warm water, perfect for a refreshing swim. Additionally, the coffee and hot chocolate provided were a nice touch. And my friends' little girl had a blast playing at the small playground.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the pool at the hotel. It was perfect for the kids and they had a blast swimming and playing in the water. Additionally, the location of the hotel was fantastic. It was very close to the IRTA parks Xetulul and Xocomil, which made it convenient for us to visit and enjoy the attractions. Another advantage that I enjoyed was the pleasant surprise of having hot water in the shower.

There were a few negative aspects of my experience. the beds were a bit worn out and could have been more comfortable.
