From the moment I entered Castle Park Guest House, the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. The homemade bread for breakfast was an unexpected highlight, alongside expertly brewed coffee. Ian and David’s hospitality was unmatched—they even provided a delicious takeaway breakfast on my departure day, which suited my dietary needs perfectly. The room was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean, making every moment relaxing.

While my experience was fantastic overall, I would have loved to have a later dining option for breakfast. It would have been nice to enjoy a leisurely morning without feeling rushed. The shared bathroom, although large and well-maintained, could be a concern for those used to absolute privacy.

Oh, the poached eggs were absolutely divine! Each morning felt like a gourmet adventure, especially paired with freshly baked croissants wafting through the air. And let's not forget the lovely hosts, Ian and David, who made our stay feel so special with their thoughtful touches that truly made this a home away from home.

Sure, the Single Room was a tad small, and the walls weren't the thickest, allowing for some neighborly chatter to sneak through. But honestly, it lent a charming, cozy vibe that shined through it all!

If only I had ordered a Pain au Chocolat for breakfast, but honestly, everything else was so delightful, I couldn't even be sad about it!

Flipping loved my stay here! Ian and David were super lekker, right from the get-go. Brekkie was proper, especially that homemade bread—had to hold myself back not to gobble it all! And it was so cozy between the historic houses, I felt like I was in a whole different world!

Only thing was the busyness of the street sometimes, could hear some noise from outside, but didn’t ruin my good vibes!

Staying here was such a treat! Clean rooms, lovely selfmade toast, and the breakfast options were fresh and deliciously varied—especially adored the fried eggs and scrambles served by the charming French waitress. So cozy! 😍

However, the dining room could benefit from staying open a little longer for late-night snacks, and the street traffic was somewhat noticeable at times.
