The breakfast offerings could use more variety.

My recent stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the warm welcome at check, in to the impeccable housekeeping service, everything was top, notch. the staff here truly goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. the restaurant and bar area exude a cozy ambiance, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring. the breakfast spread was delicious, with a variety of options to suit every palate. the outside area is conveniently located near a bus stop that can easily take you to various popular attractions in the area, such as the Pleinmont Observation Tower and Petit Port.

If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the water pressure in the shower. While it wasn't a major issue, a stronger water flow would have enhanced the overall bathing experience.

I had a comfortable room with good amenities including a TV and coffee/tea making facilities. the breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold options, and the staff were friendly. the hotel's location next to the bus stop was convenient for transportation to the city and it was close to the cliffs for outdoor activities.

had an amazing time in saint martin! the captains truly exceeded expectations with their spacious rooms, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. loved the convenient bus stop right outside the property for easy access to st peter port and the airport. highly recommend for a fantastic stay in guernsey!

Minor mix-up with my luggage.

We stayed at a lovely place called the Captains in Guernsey. the breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. the staff were friendly and attentive, always doing their best to meet our requirements. the dining room had a good atmosphere, and our meals for dinner were reasonably priced and tasty. the room was clean and spacious, exceeding our expectations for the price we paid. the location was convenient, right next to a bus stop that took us to St Peter Port.

Nothing not to love!

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, they made us feel at home. The room was lovely, spacious and had a great shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Another advantage was the convenient location, with a bus stop right outside and easy access to other attractions. we had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely consider returning in the future.

The water pressure in the shower, which could have been better. However, this was just a minor inconvenience and did not significantly affect our stay.

The Captains is a homely and cosy pub hotel located in a peaceful countryside setting. Despite feeling secluded, it is conveniently located right next to bus 81. The well-equipped rooms are incredibly clean and serviced daily. Toiletries, coffee, and sweets are replenished daily. With two restaurants, two bars, and two outdoor sitting areas, there are plenty of options for dining and relaxing. The hotel is popular with locals, creating a lively atmosphere. The location is perfect for hiking, with scenic clifftop trails starting right outside the door. The superb breakfast and delicious food in the restaurant are highlights not to be missed. The friendly and helpful staff, particularly Ali, go above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming stay.

Felt very comfortable, nothing to complain about.

I always stay here for city trips. the staff recommended a taxi on my first visit. With Wi-Fi, luggage storage, bar, and restaurant, it has all I need. I enjoy the welcome drink and amenities like flat-screen TV and board games.
