Luxurious breakfast options with extensive variety.

I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one picked up. Ultimately, I had to go to the desk in person to complain, which was frustrating, and they couldn't even provide another room since the hotel was full. This hotel feels outdated and not worth the price. we found much better options nearby for a similar rate.

This place suits me perfectly with great wi-fi, a fitness centre, and 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff helped me find transport, and the kind service made my experience even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay! I'm excited to return for Christmas.

Live piano music made evenings special.

Terrific river views from the room , exceptional breakfast service and very pleasant staff made our stay enjoyable. A great location for exploring the city, we would recommend this hotel to others.

Waking up to panoramic views of the Danube River was a delight! The breakfast buffet was extensive, featuring freshly made omelets and live piano music that enhanced the dining experience.

However, I encountered issues with elevators being crowded and some minor delays. Additionally, I felt that concierge services could be more attentive during busy hours. The lobby was lovely, but staff interactions weren’t always warm.

what an absolute letdown! not only did housekeeping leave stained sheets and dirty cups, but their elevators were mostly out of order—what a surprise. after all this, i thought a complimentary upgrade woudl ve been nice, but of course, that was too much to ask for. definitley can’t recommend this place.

staying at the intercontinental was a dream! our classic room had a jaw-dropping view of the danube and the stunning buda castle right across the river. the breakfast buffet was amazing, with a variety to please everyone. we also loved the coconut sugar body scrub in the spa, it felt so refreshing!

We had some trouble with the hot water for our coffee maker (it just didn't work). however, the location was amazing! steps away from the chain bridge, and the modern amenities made our stay much better. staff were really friendly too.

Great location and views!

Really loved the spot! It’s just a couple of blocks from main shopping, and the view of the Danube was stunning. The bar had some tasty coffee too. One thing tho, the Club lounge could use some more variety in snacks. Still, the room was super clean and comfy.

Stunning river views!

Just wow! The views from our classic river view room were breathtaking, especially at night. The breakfast spread was super impressive with heaps of choices. I did run into some delays with the elevators, but not a biggie when you’re soaking in the views. The bar also had a cozy vibe with great drinks.

The room had a spectacular view of the Danube, and the lounge offered fantastic local wines. I enjoyed a delightful dinner with innovative dishes and a stunning riverfront view.

This place is a top selection for a brief pause in Budapest and offers excellent value for money. The lovely patio is great for drinks and people watching. Be sure to book a room with a river view for magical nights.
