i almost thought this place was nice until i experienced the limited breakfast choice—who knew french pastries were the only option? also, when i wanted late checkout for my inconvenience, i was told it wasn’t possible. disgusting, honestly! and why was there no one at the reception when i needed them?

Great spot for a trip with friends! We loved the warm atmosphere, enjoyed the live accordion music in the evening, and explored the beautiful Buda Castle. Breakfast was on point, particularly the croissants, and the staff were super friendly. Just a quick cab ride to the city center, so it’s super convenient.

One downside was having to carry our bags up the stairs. the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, which was a bit of a workout.

The Pest-Buda Design Hotel offers spacious rooms and a unique atmosphere in a prime location near Fisherman's Bastion and Buda Castle. While the friendliness of the staff enhances the experience, the lack of an elevator could be a challenge for some guests. An early morning door issue prompted a bit of panic, so clearer instructions for such situations would be helpful.

the air conditioner was kinda loud but the room was super clean with a huge shower that had awesome water pressure. the included breakfast was really tasty with fresh croissants. location was perfect for wandering around the castle district.

this place is super cozy and charming! the staff were really friendly, and the room was comfy with a lovely street view. breakfast was amazin, especially the fresh croissants – really hit the spot! being just a few minutes from fisherman’s bastion is a big plus. i loved how quiet it was, kinda felt like i was in my own little bubble.

but man, those stairs are a workout! and the bathroom was kinda small, no ventilation which was a bit ehh.

We spent 4 wonderful nights here, enjoying the amazing walking access to breathtaking sights like Fisherman's Bastion just a few steps away and the historic Buda Castle only a short stroll from our hotel. the welcoming atmosphere and the comfortable deluxe room truly made our stay feel special.

Quiet nights with a cozy, elegant atmosphere.

The location was perfect for exploring the Fisherman's Bastion and Castle District right nearby. The shower had high-quality products that I didn't even need to bring my own. Breakfast croissants were freshly made and absolutely delicious 🥐.
