We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during check-in, making it one of the best experiences we had on our entire trip. The room was cozy and clean, providing a comfortable stay. The hotel is located in a picturesque setting, nestled in the hills with colorful mountains surrounding it. Being right by the sea added to the serenity of the location. The breakfast offered a great selection of freshly prepared options, ensuring a delightful start to the day.

We had a wonderful stay at Alfheimar! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is located in a beautiful area with stunning mountain views from our room. The private bathroom was a nice touch and the rooms were simple but clean. The food at the restaurant was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. We also appreciated the convenient location for day hikes and exploring the small town.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I recently stayed at a guesthouse in Bakkagerdi on the east coast and had a wonderful experience. The drive to the guesthouse was adventurous, with gravel roads and hairpin bends, but the stunning setting made it all worthwhile. The guesthouse itself was basic, but incredibly clean and the staff were helpful throughout my stay.

Although the main hut, where the office and meals were served, was a bit noisy, I would highly recommend requesting a room in one of the other buildings. The rooms in the main hut were not soundproof, and every sound seemed to echo through the hard floors.

One of the best aspects was the delicious food, which showcased local products and flavors.

The GPS had trouble finding the hotel, but since the area was small, we were able to locate it by driving around. Additionally, the lack of hairdryers in the rooms was a minor inconvenience, but we were forewarned and brought our own.

We were able to capture some amazing photos and create wonderful memories. the rooms were comfortable and had great views from the windows. And let's not forget about the shower - it was amazing, definitely the highlight of our room.

The menu for dinner was a set menu, so we had to eat elsewhere. Additionally, the location of the hotel was a bit far on the outskirts of town, and better signage would have been helpful in finding it.

I stayed at Alfheimar Hotel for 10 days during my trip to Iceland, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The picturesque location of the hotel, combined with the second largest room I stayed in throughout my trip, made it a perfect choice. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, with a fantastic shower. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for local sights and restaurants. The Alfa Cafe, recommended by the staff, offered a charming setting and the fish soup was absolutely delicious. I also appreciated the owner's knowledge of the surroundings and their warm hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel in a picturesque location. the room was spacious and comfortable, with great facilities. the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, providing us with helpful tips and suggestions. the food at the hotel was superb, especially the fresh and delicious fish soup. the hotel was centrally located, within walking distance of the harbor and the only restaurant in the village. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to check in without any complications and enjoy a great breakfast.
