The photos online accurately portrayed the beautiful and serene garden-like atmosphere along the river that surrounds the property. The house itself is modern and elegant, with a stunning staircase leading up to the cozy guest rooms on the second floor. The breakfast, served in a sunny conservatory, was delicious and the kitchen setting made me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was a perfect fit for my family, with a two-room suite layout and a private bathroom in between. The location near the Golden Circle was ideal for exploring, and the peacefulness of the surroundings was unmatched. The warm and friendly welcome we received from the owners' young friend added a personal touch to our stay. I highly recommend this place for its value, comfort, and genuine hospitality.

Oh, and who doesn't love getting lost thanks to a faulty navigation app? Definitely added some excitement to my trip.

The owners were super cool and made us feel like rockstars. We were only a short drive away from the amazing Geysir and Gullfoss waterfalls, where we had the best time exploring and taking awesome selfies. Plus, the free tea and coffee kept us fueled for our adventures!

The only thing we would have asked for is a happening party scene. We were looking forward to some late-night fun with other young people, but it was more laid-back and chill.

the room we stayed in, Room 7, had a cozy attic-like feel with a private bathroom and a beautiful view of the stream behind the house. the host, Magnus, was attentive and helpful, always there to answer our questions. We highly recommend taking advantage of the spacious and lovely kitchen, as well as enjoying meals in the bright patio. we loved relaxing in the comfortable armchairs by the entrance, consulting the tourist guide and taking in the idyllic pastoral view.
