The location couldn't have been better for our romantic escape. It was close enough to town and the main road, but far enough to enjoy some privacy and stunning views of the night sky. the fact that we could just step out onto our front deck and watch the Northern Lights was absolutely magical. Plus, the cabin had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy atmosphere.

Loved the chairs/bench to watch the stars! Owner puts a ton of care and attention into the cabins. Highly recommended for a stay in this area!

Stayed 2 nights as a base to explore the East Fjords. Fantastic location for exploring with close proximity to the road and town, yet still offering dark skies for stargazing. The bench on the small hill provided stunning 360-degree views. Our modern, well-equipped cabin was exceptionally clean, warm, and had double glazing for a quiet stay. The owner clearly puts care and attention into the cabins. Highly recommended for a cozy and personal experience in Höfn.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

My recent stay at the cabins just outside of town was fantastic. The brand new cabins were equipped with everything I needed, including a grill and dishes. I loved the secluded location and spacious surroundings. The owner was extremely communicative and provided great recommendations for dining and activities in the area. Check-in was seamless, with clear instructions sent via email and text. If I visit the Hofn area again, these cabins will definitely be my first choice. I highly recommend this hotel.

The other recreational games provided added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. The kitchen, although small, was well-planned and had everything I needed. I had a comfortable and peaceful experience here. I would definitely come back. The owner was very friendly and responsive to all my queries. This place is a hidden gem for a relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Aurora Cabins, the perfect stop on our 10-day Ring Road adventure. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely BBQ on the decking. The location was easy to find and the views were breathtaking. Worst aspects of our xmas stay , occasional light pollution and cleanliness issues. the intermittent light pollution from passing cars hindered our night, sky photography, but with some patience, we managed to capture the beauty of the stars.
