It was just a good match for a rapid stop in Newcastle upon Tyne with attractive and competitive value for money. The pool, jacuzzi, and steam room were lovely, providing a nice way to relax after a long day. Just be mindful of the extra charges for the mini bar snacks when budgeting your stay.

We faced several issues during our stay that were quite frustrating. The shower pressure was inadequate, making it difficult to enjoy a proper wash. Additionally, our room wasn't cleaned to standard, with fluff in the bath and someone else’s belongings left behind. The Nespresso machine was also malfunctioning, yet despite reporting it, the problem was never addressed.

Would be happy to recommend for a weekend break

Spacious room, modern amenities, with a lovely bathroom featuring both a shower cubicle and a bathtub, making it perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city’s attractions just a 15 km drive away.

The breakfast selection was impressive! The evening meals were enjoyable, and the gym and spa facilities were excellent!

Check-in was frustratingly delayed. Noise from adjacent rooms made it difficult to sleep peacefully.

Location is perfect for exploring! Close to city center and train station 🚆. Bar area really nice with a pianist playing. Clean and modern facilities too!

Entirely satisfied.

Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring comfortable beds and fresh linens. The breakfast offered a wide selection, although the pancakes fell short of expectations with their dryness. A persistent paint smell lingered in the room, which somewhat affected our comfort. However, the attentive and friendly staff made our experience more enjoyable, serving local vegetables that added a nice touch to the meals.

The hotel really impressed with its spacious and bright lobby, and the atmosphere in the bar was fantastic, especially with live music on weekends. Breakfast was well cooked and generously portioned, although the cold room service could be improved. Service varied, with some friendly staff members making the experience pleasant.

We had a lovely time enjoying the clean, spacious rooms, and the staff were incredibly helpful, making our short stay even more enjoyable as they assisted us with recommendations for local sites to explore, like the beautiful Cathedral Church of St Mary, just a short walk away, and the iconic Tyne Bridge, less than a kilometer from the hotel, which made our weekend city strolls delightful.
