The value for money at the hostel was excellent, and the room we stayed in was comfortable with a breathtaking view. The location was perfect, surrounded by mountains and the sea, and the staff were kind and accommodating.

Brightly painted buildings with a small restaurant and church. Great location for hiking, beach walks, bird-watching, and June flowers. Clean and efficient cabins with comfortable beds and a decent shower. Helpful and congenial hosts, who assist with local trips. We plan to stay longer next time.

I recently stayed at Berunes Hostel for a few nights and had an amazing experience. The views from the hostel are absolutely stunning, and the beach and coastal area nearby are breathtaking. The tiny house I stayed in was cozy and had a fairytale-like atmosphere, perfect for a romantic getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great hints and tips for exploring the area. The hostel also had two kitchens, one of which was well-stocked and allowed us to cook our own meals. I can't say enough how awesome and unique this place is.

Couldn't recommend this hostel more.

The hostel provided all the comforts I needed as a solo traveler, including Wifi and well-functioning showers. The property's old-world charm gave me a unique experience, feeling like I had stepped back in time to the beginning of the 20th century. The selection of literature classics in multiple languages was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly, and I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast with a variety of traditional Icelandic dishes.

Hi! I had a wonderful experience staying at a beautiful hostel with an ocean view. the staff was friendly and helpful, always available to answer my questions. the kitchen had all the basics I needed and the atmosphere of the hostel was cozy and homely. I especially enjoyed the peaceful and scenic surroundings with mountains on one side and the sea on the other. It was a great place to stop between South Beach and the East.

No negatives in the experience. Everything was perfect!

The surroundings provide a peaceful and serene atmosphere for guests to enjoy. the shared kitchen is well equipped, allowing guests to prepare their own meals and fostering a sense of camaraderie among fellow travelers. The vintage furniture and setting of the hostel add a unique and cool vibe to the experience.

The thin walls in the hostel can sometimes make it difficult to get a good night's sleep, especially if other guests are being noisy.

I had an absolutely charming stay at this hostel! The self-catering cottages were cozy and perfect for our group of six. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities for cooking, making us feel right at home. The owner was friendly and his adorable dog added to the welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast spread was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. The views from the hostel were breathtaking, although it was a bit isolated. I highly recommend this hostel for a unique and memorable experience.

We loved the flexibility and warm welcome from the staff at this hostel. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking, with a nice walk into the mountains directly from the hotel.
